Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park, situated near the Ashwani River and 12 km from Solan, was founded by retired Brigadier General Kapil Mohan, and inaugurated by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Spanning 40 acres and costing around INR 100 crores, it’s a major tourist attraction near Shimla and Solan. The park features a temple with numerous god statues and sculptures, reflecting Vedic culture. Swastika symbols adorn the area. It’s North India’s first ancient heritage park and Himachal Pradesh’s largest, offering stunning views of nature. Daily Vedic rituals are performed, accessible within an hour from Shimla or Solan via an off-road journey from Salogra station.
